Artist and art tutor, Rosemary Hale, is based in Staffordshire. Most of her tutoring work entails running art groups and painting workshops. Demonstrations are key to her relaxed tutoring style and getting out to paint in the "great outdoors" is something she encourages all her regular students to do.

Although Rosemary tutors in most media and will tackle many types of subject, her personal favourite (by a mile) are mountainous, wild landscapes...in watercolour. So, much of her spare time is spent up high, enjoying the freedom and creative buzz of capturing wild places in Britain and abroad.

As in here, painting the cliffs of the mystical isle of St. Kilda

or here sketching Sharp Edge on Blencathra in the Lake District (once she had recovered from walking it!)

**Please note - all sketching days with Rosemary in 2016 are now fully booked.

Details for 2017 will follow early 2017

There are still a few places left on the summer day workshops.

Weekly class sessions resume in August.

Finally, my thanks to all who supported myself and my Foxt painting group in our sponsored "Paintathon" recently. We have raised in excess of £700 for Parkinson's UK.

Wow....and it was fun too!

Hope you have a great summer painting.

(I know I will!!)
