"This is the home page - gateway into my website. I hope you enjoy it and will visit again soon." Rosemary
Rosemary Hale is a versatile professional artist, finding interest in almost everything, although mountain landscapes and wildlife are her preferred subjects.

A Professional Associate of the Society for All Artists (SAA), she is an experienced art tutor and demonstrator. From her studio at home near Stafford, she also runs a comprehensive schedule of courses and workshops for adults. Class numbers are kept small, so that everyone has some individual tuition, plus she believes in teaching through practical demonstration. The atmposhere is friendly and informal and most people who come to learn at Berry Ring return time and time again.
Rosemary is also involved with writing for Art Journals - look out for her articles in Leisure Painter and Art of England. She has recently been elected a member of Landscape Artists International.
Berry Ring Studio
Rosemary is available for demonstrations and workshops to painting groups and also for charity groups. Commissions - most subjects considered.
**NEW FOR 2009**
2 new DVDs (Rosemary's first) - "Painting in the Peak District" are being launched at Patchings Art festival in early June. Within three hours of tuition time two sketches and two paintings are completed and so there is much of interest for amateur painters to learn and enjoy. On her return from Patchings, Rosemary will be selling them on this website, so Watch This Space!
