Half Seventeen is a traditional style crofthouse with many original features, including pine lined walls in the lounge and kitchen and cosy sloping ceilings in the bedrooms. There's a lovely old cast iron range in the kitchen (for decorative use only!)  but as a concession to modern day comfort we have a wood burning stove in the living room....wonderfully cosy at any time of the year! 

The views along the small road to the cottage from Ardvasar are stunning...to the wilderness that is the mountainous Knoydart peninsula.....

.....further on to the fishing port of Mallaig.........along to the sands of Arisaig and Morar.......across the sea to the island of Eigg...

.....down the Sound of Sleat to Ardnamurchan Point and Lighthouse and when you arrive at Half Seventeen.........peace, perfect peace.......

                                ........whatever the season.....what more could you ask for?!
