On this page you'll find photographs taken on recent arty activities I have been involved with plus a bit of chat. I thought it would help give you an idea of how the workshops, sketching trips, shows, holidays etc pan out. Rosemary
DECEMBER 2011
The highlight of this month has got to be the two weeks spent in Scotland over Christmas and New Year. Skye is a very special part of the world for me and, as usual, despite the extreme weather it didn't disappoint. (or maybe it was because of the extreme weather). Let me show you what I'm talking about:
From Elgol
It was at times very wet and wild....hurricane force wind on one day. I did try sketching despite this, though on more than one occasion it ended up a complete soggy mess. However, one exciting wildlife moment happened because of this extreme weather and that was when an immature sea-eagle spent some time in Aird having got it's feathers waterlogged during the gales. I saw it just before I left and then on the following day, my friend Pat saw it perched on a fence post in her garden! No doubt it has dried out now and flown somewhere less populated but wow!
As you can see I'm having a great time painting......and I hope you are enjoying your painting too. If you want to join one of my regular painting group contact me on 07728483446
bye for now
